This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was perfect, situated right next to a beautiful canal with a lovely walking path. It was a great way to start the day with a peaceful stroll. Secondly, the staff were exceptional, from the welcoming and helpful receptionist to the friendly and attentive personnel at the Brewers Fayre. Their service really made me feel valued as a guest. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in the rooms. Everything was clean and tidy, and the basic amenities provided made my stay comfortable. The view from my room was also a delightful bonus.

All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

The nearby Hirds family fisheries is within walking distance, the room fulfilled all our requests, and the location of this place was greatly appreciated.

Stayed at a hotel recently for Christmas, the location was really good and allowed me to go for a nice walk along the canal. the staff was friendly like Keith who offered information about the area. the room had a nice large fan and Wi-Fi access to keep us entertained.

the bedding had some red marks on it, which wasn't very hygienic.
